7 Things You Need to Know About Build-A-Car

With Build-A-Car, you can customize the front, sides, rear, and interior of your vehicle. Each vehicle has multiple zones where products go. You populate these zones with your choice of products. For example, when choosing the products for the front roof zone of a vehicle, you may have 4 different lightbars to choose from. This makes it easier for the customer to know where our lights can go on your vehicle.

When choosing which products go on your selected zone, keep in mind there are limits. You can only make 1 product selection per zone. This prevents a vehicle with becoming overcrowded with too many products. However, this is just simplified for Build-A-Car.
 
 
 
What Products are Available?

Product options include Quantum, Q Series lighting products, and Quad Cannons are also included. However, there are no Fusion options when using Build-A-Car. Don't be alarmed. We still make, sell, and ship thousands of Fusion products. For Build-A-Car, the vehicle customization will not include the Fusion line.

The interior of the vehicle has different product options than the outside. The inside is geared more towards housing the controllers, flashers, and sirens.

There are 8 different vehicle models to choose from. Each vehicle comes with a variety of product options. If you don't see your vehicle in Build-A-Car, there's no need to worry, we will continuously be adding more vehicle options for your industry needs. There are a few vehicle-specific products that go with a vehicle. These products are mirror mounts, Interior lightbars, and spoilers. Those 3 products must correspond to a specific vehicle. Every other product is free game to put on any vehicle.

 
 
Purchasing Your New Build

When you're finished making your selections for the vehicle, it’s time to press FINISH BUILD. This will take you to a checkout page where you'll submit your order to be shipped directly. When it comes time to install your new products you can reference your order to see where each product goes. This can be done by downloading a PDF of your order. You can also choose to share your custom build with friends. Just click the SHARE Build button and type in their email.
